I understand there are numerous of inherent risks associated with participating in any cooking class, including but not limited to using sharp knives, operating hot stoves, boiling water, hot oil, oven and operating kitchen equipment. I acknowledge and assume the risks involved in these cooking activities and for any damage, illness and injuries resulting from such risks There are no physical, emotional or mental problems or limitations associated with my participation in Casual Elegance cooking classes. 

Most of our cooking classes are intended for adults 18 and older, but we do offer some classes for kids and teens as well as some you can enjoy with them.

We suggest you dress in comfortable, casual clothing and flat comfortable shoes.  You may not wear high heels, opened toed shoes or sandals.

You are welcome to take photographs and videos of limited portions of your class, provided such reproductions are for your personal use and enjoyment, and do not disturb the class, other students or the chef instructor. We would love if you shared your experience with friends on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat!! All photography and digital reproductions intended for commercial use is strictly prohibited, with out prior consent of Casual Elegance.  

Alcoholic beverages may be available for consumption in certain classes. You are allowed to bring beer or wine to enjoy at the end with your meal. You are not allowed to consume alcoholic beverages until the Chef Instructor deems it safe to do so. We reserve the right to remove someone from a class if they show up under the influence of alcohol. Class participants may be asked to present identification to prove they are of legal New York State drinking age. Pregnant women, people who are driving, or on certain medications should not consume alcohol

To register for any class payment is required at time of registration. Two weeks withdrawal notice is required for a refund (excluding gift certificates), although a transaction fee of $20 will be deducted from the refund for each class participant.

Rescheduling a class still counts as a cancellation, therefore the transaction fee of $20 will still be charged.

There are no refunds or school credits issued with less than 48 hours noticed  from the date the class is scheduled.

Casual Elegance reserves the right to cancel any class that fails to attract sufficient enrollment. In case of a cancellation, all students will be notified and a new class will be scheduled or a full refund will be given.

In order to minimize class class interruptions, we maintain the right to deny entrance if the student  is more than 15 minutes late.
